Brush sizes — The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size may vary by manufacturer as brush sizes are not standardized. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from within a single brush line.
What sets KINGART™ PREMIUM Brushes above the competition?

Painting is a new hobby but I am loving these brushes. They give good clear strokes without and hairs sprayed out to leave little extra lines to mess up your picture. I think this set is great and the brand is very high quality, not to mention how easily the brushes clean up. Great item, 4 stars.

I got these brushes to use with one of the adult Paint-By-Numbers kits as the brushes that come with those kits are usually garbage. These are working out beautifully! There's a great selection of sizes, and I highly recommend them.
This is a good ten piece starter set of artist brushes in a variety of shapes and sizes. We use them for watercolor right now, and they are described as working well with "Acrylic, Alkyd, Oil, Watercolor." In the old days, expensive red sable brushes were recommended for painting with watercolor, but first it's the vision the artist has that controls how the paint flows on the page. If the brushes have good "spring" to them, have good points, are durable, easy to clean and don't lose their hairs, then you are good to go. These brushes do a good job at a good price. Recommended.
I didn't do any canvas painting with these yet. I needed to do some box painting for my daughter birthday picture photos. They worked very well. The grip was nice and it was very smooth with the paint application. Grant it I was only applying polka dots all over the spray painted boxes but the dot come out very nice. Cant wait to use them for canvas painting next.
At first I thought these were too stiff, but once you fan them out, they are incredibly soft, yet firm enough to hold and evenly apply your paint. I'm not exactly a painter, but that's why these are a nice starter kit for those who are just beginning their voyage into the world of a starving artist. Seriously though, these are a great selection of brushes designed for a variety of media. The sizes cover tiny/intricate spots to a small-medium canvas. The price is perfect for the aspiring artist in your life who wants a nice set of brushes.
