As fashion designer and illustrator, I wanted to make something different to highlight traditional/classical medium.

I taught lot of my fashion students how to use markers, watercolor or acrylic, even as majority of artist mostly utilizing only digital medium today

From the young age of 7 months, Nicole began her artistic journey. She quickly graduated from washable paints to acrylics. Her innate talent of color composition and art composition as a whole is evident in her work. Nicole’s artwork has been shown in exhibitions at the Ankeny Art Center in Ankeny, Iowa; Blanden Memorial Art Museum in Fort Dodge, Iowa; and at an art show outside of Rochester, New York.

For “You’re too sweet” card, I used brush pens for precision and vibrant colour to make the candy look sweet and shiny. I added some shadows and light to make it stand out and pop! The perfect card to give to someone sweet!

For the “LOVE” card, I used Watercolor Pan Set for the shiny effects. I love the blurry and almost bokeh effects of the colour blending together. I want this card to look like a Polaroid picture!

This heart shaped pink floral card is a romantic and cute heart cut on which I have painted some loose florals and outlined with gold metallic watercolor paint…. The heart piece is stuck on fuchsia pink card-stock to highlight the card. Valentines day message is written on pink metallic color.

My circle shaped card is a luxurious yet romantic metallic blue floral card, hand torn in circle to get the deckled edge look. The card is outlined with gold metallic watercolor paint. The message is written on cream metallic painted deckled edge piece.

For the hand lettered Valentine card, I mixed two different lettering styles and had the letters interlace with each other. To add some dimension, I first painted a heart background with the Watercolor Brush Pen Markers and I added a drop shadow with the Inkline Pen.

For the lettering, I used the Pearlescent Pan Set for some shimmer. For the gnome card I first painted it with the Watercolor Brush Pen Markers. I first outlined the edge with the marker and then used the Original Gold Round Paintbrush to blend it out with water. Afterwards, I added a rough outline with the Inkline Pen.
