The gel sticks are a fun addition to my watercolor paint. They are a soft creamy and a delightful density that is beautiful to work with.

Getting back into the swing of things as I have been sick for 6 years with intracranial hypertension which is a medical condition in the brain. This medical condition has stopped me from anything and everything enjoyable in my life. I finally brought myself to drawing again. I do not want to "waste" paint until I feel confident again with my creativity. I started using kingsart gel pens that I had for years and loved how they glide on the paper with good coverage. I then discovered the mixed media gel sticks and gave them a whirl. They are so easy to use, glide on smoothly just like butter. The only thing I had an issue with was with details like eyes, nose, and anything small is hard to accomplish that task. I will continue to use them in my projects but mixed with gel pens until I'm ready to paint. I pulled everything out to paint just waiting for that moment...I need this for myself mentally to work the right side of my brain (it's the side I have trouble with from the intracranial hypertension).

Love the quality of the sticks, so smooth and blendable. Would love to be able to buy individual colors, and some more variety in the oranges and grays would be nice.
