Need to Know:
- 100% cotton canvas surface is lightly textured and primed with black acrylic gesso
- Use for painting with oil and acrylic paints and pens as well as mixed media projects, collage, craft projects and more.
- For personal preference, painting on canvas board provides a stiffer surface than stretched canvas
- Excellent for creating nighttime scenes and moodier pieces, painting on a black canvas produces more interesting effects and adds dimension through differences in how colors are perceived
